FIME is looking for an Arabic-speaking employee for a pay subsidy position

The Foundation of the Finnish Institute in the Middle East (FIME) is looking for an Arabic-speaking employee for a 100 % pay subsidy (palkkatuki which means they have been a unemployed job seeker registered in Helsinki for at least 24 months out of the last 28 months) fixed term position for the following duties: research assistant to work with Arabic source material, to assist in the making of Arabic learning materials, and to strengthen FIME’s connections with the Arabic-speaking community in Finland. The positions may also include Arabic and English social media communications, Arabic language-café activities, event organization, and other tasks related to FIME’s activities. The position requires a university degree and excellent Arabic and good English language skills. Previous experience in research and/or communications is considered an advantage. The position is at the Helsinki office of FIME, and the applicant is required to be entitled to 100 % pay subsidy by the municipality.
