Irina Piippo returns to her role as Institute Director

Dr. Irina Piippo returns to her role as Institute Director after research leave.

In her six month leave, Piippo prepared the fieldwork stage of the MIGDIA research project.

The MIGDIA research project led by Piippo is focused on questions of migration, transnational educational paths and diasporic plurilingualism in Finland and Lebanon.

Dr. Anu Leinonen continues as Executive Officer at the Foundation of the Institute in Helsinki after serving as Acting Director of the Institute.
